Seven Prayers for the man in your life
We are often encouraged to pray for the man we want to marry or the man we are married to and this is great advice. But I believe we can go a step further.
Every one of us interacts with men at different points in our lives, this may be a father, brother, son, cousin, friend, colleague, or pastor, amongst others.
Praying for the different men that influence our lives, in one way or another, can be such an enriching experience. It is easy to forget that men face problems too. Men are often subjected to pressures…read more.

Seven Scriptures to help you pray for God’s direction
When I’m amongst other Christians or in church circles, the most common prayer points are usually from people seeking prayers for God’s direction.
This makes sense since prayers for direction permeate every aspect of our lives.
We need God’s help to know what to do, per time and the right decisions to make.
But these sorts of prayers can also be overwhelming.
The most obvious questions are;
“how do I pray for direction?”
“How do I ask for revelation and wisdom?” If you’ve ever asked these questions, then read more here.

10 Bible verses that confirm God knows what we need
There are times when we may find that we base our relationship with God to his ability to grant our requests. This happens when we only go to God to get something and expect to get it when we want it.
And then we may even sulk and avoid Him when we feel He is holding out on us.
I remember a season of financial difficulty that found me upset with God as I felt he was…read more here.

Have you ever wondered how to control your tongue? How to control your words and the things you say?

Letter to the single girl who feels unloved and forgotten
Dear one,
I know you see them, all those who seem to be in love and have it all.
You see the beauty around you and wonder why your life is different. Why you are all alone? You spend most weekends indoors, moping around, eating too much, and wandering through social media profiles, lost in a world that is not yours.
Why me, you ask, why is my case always different?!
You wonder why you are “easily forgotten” even amongst your friends and family.
These thoughts haunt you and remind you of all you’re not.

20 fun and meaningful activities for a single Christian woman
‘Fun’ is a word we often hear in secular groups and not as much within Christian circles. Growing up, I often felt it was frowned upon. I imagined God as this tough guy, in heaven, who wanted me to be a quiet and gentle child.
Thank God he isn’t.
He is an incredible and loving father who wants us to make the most of all he has put inside of us.
But here’s one thing; as Christian singles, we shouldn’t be…read more here.

When it feels like God has favorites and you’re not one of them

25 Productive activities for Single Women
I think one of the buzzwords for our generation is self-development, and for good reason. Our ability to develop ourselves and improve our productivity directly affects the quality and texture of our lives.
And it does not matter if we are single or married.
However, I am focusing on us single gals because what matters is not that we are single but what we do while single.
The popular Latin phrase, ‘Carpe Diem‘ is a reminder to seize the day and make…read more here.

How to Accept God’s will in your relationship
Can you imagine a life where our prayers are answered just the way we want? Where we are sure of an immediate yes, even in our relationships – that would be great, right?
This is even more poignant after a dry spell (those who know, know??).
But what if God says NO?
How do you accept God’s will for your relationship when it’s the exact opposite of what you wanted or expected?…read more here.
Concluding thoughts
I am often surprised when I see certain posts do well with blog readers. The biggest surprises have been No’s 5 and 8, particularly No.8 which I had written during a season when I had to come to terms with how I viewed God.
I had been doing a study on Galatians where the Apostle Paul reminded the people of Galatia that our God is not partial and has no favorites. I had to sit with this for a while until I fully believed it for myself.
I pray this and all the other posts on this list (and the blog) will continue to encourage God’s daughters in every area of their lives. Amen.
