God’s love letter to you
Happy Valentine’s Day!
To celebrate this love season how about we basked in the greatest love story of all time? The love that keeps giving and never ends.
The need to revisit this is especially poignant because we frequently forget this love; we frequently forget that there is one person who loves us unconditionally. That one person who is ever present in all of life’s travails
I do have a few questions for you:
Why do we forget?
Why do we allow the worries and cares of this world to trample on our fragile faith?
Perhaps, it is because of the urgency and reality of our lives compared to His word or because what we cannot see is harder to believe.
We tell ourselves we will remember; thoughts of His goodness will remain in our minds.
But when troubles come, we flounder.
We fight against the crashing waves, drowning in the pit of despair.
What gives?
What do we need to do so we don’t forget —
Can we write His words on the lines of our hearts?
Can we sing His praises even in our darkest moments?
Yes, we can.
We can continually live in the knowledge of the deep well of love he has placed within us which is His Holy Spirit.
We can savour the joys of fellowship by turning our faces and our hearts to His and not to our situation.
And it starts with knowing we are not alone. Our God has promised to never leave us and yes, His word is His bond.
The Psalmist says:
The lord will keep his promises. With love he takes care of all he has made. The lord helps those who have been defeated. He takes care of those who are in trouble.”
Psalm 145:13b-14
Sis, God is for you.
He is committed to seeing you shine and fulfil all he has purposed for you.
I pray you do not let fear or life’s moments distract you from God’s plan for your life.
Do you long to remember God’s ardent love for you? To recall the words of a father with great plans for His daughters.
Then read on –
God’s love letter to His Daughters:
“Let them see me.
Let them see my heart. Let them see what I want to do in and through them. I want them to know that those dreams I put in them were for a purpose. It was not placed there by mistake; it was not an error but divinely orchestrated. Life may have happened to them; issues have come but I am God.
I am the One who made all, nothing is a thing if I have not called it forth.
They must let go.
They must let go of the past, of their fears, and of self. The work is not about them. The dreams are not about them. I have beautiful plans. The beginning of which they cannot believe or imagine. But they must let me work. They must come fully to me – with open hearts. They have to allow me to love them like only I can.
Oh, if only they knew the splendors and the vastness of this love. If only they knew how long I have pursued them. How long I have waited for them to leave religion, to leave the world’s ways and seek after mine. To allow me to take centre stage in their lives…
